4айник у меня куча дисков к звуковухе. тот диск на котром драйверы называется 0202 USB and 0404 USB Software/Manual Insallation CD-ROM - там собсно и дрова. спасибо за совет, но скачать не могу из-за трафика, денег нет. Quick question. There was a USB audio driver in the mainline kernel for the Creative EMU 0404/0202 USB audio interface that definitely worked some years ago. Does anyone out there still own one of these and can confirm it still works on a recent kernel release. General audio input question (newbie) I am planning on purchasing a new USB sound card for microphone inputs. I have a general question about system setup, as I would like to record multiple mics, say 2-4 mics. Is it possible to connect to multiple USB devices for input with a program like Ardour? For example, I have a 2 port Creative EMU 0404 device, and then a M-audio 2 port device. Can I record from both of these using Ardour and the Alsa driver? Or would I need to connect the devices. Hi, I'm looking to get an audio board for my mac to make room measurements and listen to music. I have these two options at the same price almost, which one should I get from a sound quality point of view? I'd have to get a thunderbolt - firewire adapter for the Saffire but if it's worth it on the long run then I would. I have an external AK4396 dac that has only spdif input. I could use that with the Saffire for listening to music, and use the board only for recording and measurements. I thought the iRig Pro was exactly what I wanted - works on mac and iOS w/ plug-and-play, is affordable, usb powered (or battery for 48V), has a mic and 1/4" input and of course midi. . but just realized the midi is only midi in. I need midi out as well because I'd like to sequence some hardware synths I have. Anyone have any suggestions? I know there is also the iRig Duo which is basically what I want, but for 0 a bunch of doors open up to tons of interfaces. I was also looking Anyone else having something similar? I have a Radeon HD 6850 - latest drivers. Win 7, 8gb ram. When the graphics card crashes the screen locks for a few seconds, goes black, and then comes back, windows 7 flashes a quick notice that the card crashed and recovered. Usually this only happens when it gets too hot but I can confirm it doesn't go past 68C so its not too hot. Every time this happens the game says Unexpected Disconnection. makes it very hard to complete quests before getting a crash. I intentionally checked myself out of the loop for a few years to save my wallet and just enjoy the music, but I think it's time for a modest upgrade. I have been using the EMU 0404 USB as the DAC/Amp combo for quite a while now, great upgrade from my Macbook Pro's headphone out, but I understand that the Amp section of it isn't as competent as the DAC section, that's why I'm looking to upgrade to either the O2 or Magni , which seems to be the current best bang-for-your-buck amps. First off, my primary purpose for this device isn't recording, but rather as a piece of measurement equipment ( I do DIY electronics ( One of the common ways to test a piece of gear is to record its output and analyse it through software to find its frequency response, distortion, etc. However, in doing so, I need a recording device that has the specs necessary I have just got an EMU 0404 USB audio interface and got around to setting it up with reaper today. I have installed the latest drivers but when I record or playback any audio in reaper it only comes out of one side of my headphones. Outside of reaper the sound comes through in stereo so I think it must be something I have set up wrong. Can anyone shed any light on the situation.
